DMCA Policy

YEC Furniture respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing alleged copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications.

Our commitment ensures that original content, whether it is our detailed guides on luxury furniture or expert advice on home decor in Dubai, remains protected. We expect our users to uphold the same standards.

If you believe that material on YEC Furniture infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification. Please send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will investigate and take appropriate action. This action may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

Required Elements for a DMCA Takedown Notice

For your notice to be valid under the DMCA, it must include all of the following elements:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit YEC Furniture to locate the material (e.g., a specific URL).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit YEC Furniture to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address (e.g., [email protected]).
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

False claims can lead to liability for damages. You must confirm the accuracy of your statements and your authority to act before submitting a notice.

Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed or access disabled due to a DMCA takedown notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. We will forward your counter-notification to the original complaining party.

The material may be restored within 10 to 14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notification, unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Required Elements for a Counter-Notification

For your counter-notification to be valid, it must include all of the following elements:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which YEC Furniture may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
